Someone is watching Rae Mercer.

He has access to her webcam, pictures taken of her inside her apartment, and an online blog documenting the grisly murders of women he believes deserve to die. Every three weeks, Rae is forced to edit and schedule another victim’s entry — or risk becoming an entry herself.

She follows the rules and plays the game, until she opens the next draft and finds her own name.

Desperate for help, she posts a cryptic Craigslist ad. Her hero? Devon Watkins, a broke computer-repair technician, petty thief, and self-taught hacker with bad judgment, a hunting rifle, and an obsessive streak he has never learned to control. Rae expects him to be an awkward geek. Instead, Devon turns out to be a tattooed troublemaker willing to take her home, tear apart her computer, and kill the man behind the blog.

UnaliveJournal is a fast, explicit 2000s-era cyber-noir dark romance featuring voyeurism and webcam surveillance, a morally gray hacker hero, obsessive possession, and a serial killer.
